Working with Chinese colleagues internationally or in China is part of everyday working life in many companies. Chinese culture has a decisive influence on the way your colleagues think, feel and act. Work and leadership styles that we take for granted are suddenly inappropriate and wrong. Chinese emphasize different values in work and business life, which can easily lead to difficulties in everyday life, and – if used correctly – also offers potential for development.

 

Contents

The Blended Learning Course guides you through the cultural differences in a practice-oriented way.
You will find the following contents in the four modules, which you can book individually or as a whole:

  • Module 1: What does culture mean? – Getting to know cultural sensitivity and improving personal perception.
  • Module 2: Country and people – Acquiring knowledge about “What makes China tick? Country, language, people, customs and traditions.
  • Module 3: Communicating with Chinese – Improving communication with Chinese colleagues, customers and Chinese employees.
  • Module 4: Working with Chinese – learning and practicing the key elements of working culture

Schedule

  • Total learning time of the self-learning units approx. 90 minutes, individual processing time may vary depending on intensity.
  • Four modules can also be used individually as microlearning.
  • 4 x webinar 90 minutes or 1 day face-to-face training session
  • Total: 720 minutes = 12 hours

  • The courses are designed with an eye to variety and include several interactive course elements. The combination of reading and listening texts, videos, animations, short exercises and quizzes motivates learners to take part with their full attention.
  • Every participant receives a corresponding course book in digital form. This enables learners to enhance and refresh their knowledge. Upon request, it can also be provided in your layout and CI.
  • In the case of more extensive needs, the courses can be combined with coaching and/or workshops in a blended format.
  • The average time needed to complete each course is between 70 and 90 minutes.
  • If desired, the individual e-learning courses can also be integrated into your own LMS.
