\nDr. Roland Winkler studied sinology, computer sciences and linguistics in Munich, Erlangen, Taiwan and Paris. From 1993 until 1997, he worked as an assistant at the institute for sinology at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich. In addition, he taught courses such as Chinese language, grammar and IT to students of sinology. Since 1999, he has been working independently as consultant, coach and project manager. After being the general manager of Sinolog Projektservice Ostasien GmbH, he founded the company Sinogy China Consulting in 2013. Focus of the professional content and actions are on the Chinese environmental market, construction and architecture. Dr. Roland Winkler has been mainly living in Shanghai since 2005, where he also acts as consultant of the German foreign chamber of commerce. Throughout his career, he has conducted a variety of trainings of which a majority of workshops and seminars have addressed Chinese professionals and were held in Chinese.
