Whether online or on stage, Gerhard Hain takes his audience on a thematic journey. He makes his talks interactive wherever possible and maintains that \u2018just listening\u2019 is a thing of the past. As a keynote speaker, he has delivered compelling talks at the Night of Science (Regensburg), at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy as part of a networking conference (Berlin), at a symposium organised by the Federal Association of Medical Contract Research Organisations (Munich), and at numerous other scientific events, corporate functions, trade fair appearances, conferences and specialist symposia.<\/p>\n

He leads a team of around 300 intercultural experts worldwide. As the founder of ti communication, he and his team now operate in and with more than 130 countries. The experience gained from these assignments across all sectors of the economy forms the basis of his expert knowledge, which he conveys skilfully and eloquently. With a touch of humour, he manages to convey complex interrelationships in intercultural contexts in an entertaining way. In his keynote speeches, the topics are brought to life rather than merely explained. Gerhard Hain studied education, psychology and sociology in Regensburg and Rome. He leads seminars and virtual meetings, gives lectures and advises training providers and companies on the fundamentals of intercultural competence. Together with Sonja Engelbert, he is the author of the book *Auslandsknigge*, published by GU-Verlag. Together with Susanna Bezzel and Carolin \u00d6llinger, he is the author of the series *Interkulturelle Tipcards* on China, Russia, India and the USA, published by Verlag der deutschen Wirtschaft.<\/p>\n

Companies benefit from his best-practice examples in the integration of international skilled workers. This topical issue is increasingly becoming the focus of his consultancy work for public authorities and companies in German-speaking countries. On 12 March 2026, representing ti communication at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), he launched the WE-Fair Skilled Workers Alliance (\u201cEconomy and Development Policy for Fair Recruitment of Skilled Workers\u201d) together with other representatives from the German business community.<\/p>\n
