Thailand is the second-largest economy in Southeast Asia and the only country in the region that has never been colonized. Buddhism as the predominant religion has a strong influence on many aspects of daily life, culture and business. Thais are famous around the world for their smiles and \u2018having fun\u2019 is an important part of Thai life \u2026 but visitors need to learn to see behind the facade – not every smile is a happy smile.<\/p>\n
