However, whilst in Europe the business benefits are the primary focus of cooperation, business relationships in India remain predominantly person-centred. This becomes all the more important in an age of increasingly virtual communication. Negotiations are considered good form in all situations. A shared command of the English language is not the key to success with Indian business partners.<\/p>\n<p>In many sectors, Indian business life is shaped by traditional values and practices, and communication differs significantly from that in the Western business world. Indian negotiation strategies and the Indian approach to conflict present German managers with new challenges. Our intercultural business training on India provides you with an insight into the country\u2019s cultural, political, historical and economic background. Depending on the participants\u2019 needs, the following topics \u2013 which play a role in negotiations with Indian partners \u2013 can be explored, for example:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>What characteristics define Indian negotiation tactics?<\/li>\n<li>How do decision-making processes work?<\/li>\n<li>How can key points be communicated and firm deadlines agreed?<\/li>\n<li>What is important in German-Indian business relationships, and what are the key factors for success?<\/li>\n<li>What has changed as a result of the coronavirus pandemic?<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Benefits<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>This training is designed to optimise your collaboration with partners from India.<\/li>\n<li>Your contacts and projects will run smoothly<\/li>\n<li>You will be able to prevent misunderstandings and conflicts<\/li>\n<li>You will save time, stress and money<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Methods<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Interactive exercises<\/li>\n<li>Use of breakout sessions for group exercises<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of case studies<\/li>\n<li>Exchange of experiences and discussion amongst participants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Note on times<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>As a virtual workshop: 9 am \u2013 12 noon and 2 pm \u2013 5 pm<\/li>\n<li>As an in-house course: 9 am \u2013 5 pm, including a lunch break and coffee breaks<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Number of participants: 3 to a max. 10<\/h4>\n<p>You can book this training as an in-house session or as a virtual training course.
