DESCRIPTION:Due to its expanding economy and prime location\, Austria is a magnet for foreign investors\, and Austrian companies acquire abroad. An international assignment in Austria is a great opportunity and can be a challenging experience. Failure to adapt to Austrian cultural rules and behaviors can cause inefficiency\, frustration and misunderstanding. This training is designed to meet the specific needs of the participants depending on their personal respectively organizational requirements and existing skills set. \nBenefits\n\n\nRaise awareness for cultural and social manners\nCreate sensitivity and enlarge competences to manage intercultural interactions\, particularly with Austrians\nSupport in overcoming potential culture shocks\nSuccessful and efficient target achievement\n\n\nMain Contents\n\n\nAustria as a host country\nWhat is culture – and how does it affect intercultural management and cooperation\nCommunication styles in Austria\nWorking in Austria\n\n\nMethods\n\n\nInteractive exercises\nUse of breakout sessions for group exercises\nAnalysis of case studies\nExchange of experience and discussion between the participants\n\nNotes on Time:\n\nAs a virtual workshop: 9 am – 12 pm and 2 pm – 5 pm\nAs in-house measure: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. incl. lunch and coffee break\n\nNumber of participants: 3 to max. 10\nYou can book the training as an in-house measure or as a virtual training.
