DESCRIPTION:Skilled Worker Immigration – A Key Solution to the Healthcare Workforce Shortage \nForeign professionals often face professional and personal challenges when entering a new work environment and integrating into a team\, challenges that can be intensified by intercultural misunderstandings. \nThis training aims to enable participants to reflect on their own cultural values and norms and to strengthen their intercultural competence in dealing with diverse patient groups and colleagues. This is achieved through practical examples specific to the healthcare sector. \nOur main goal is to promote effective inclusion and collaboration in a multicultural work environment while increasing the motivation of professionals. \nThe training is designed for all healthcare professionals\, including nurses\, medical assistants\, physicians\, and physician assistants. \n  \nContent\n\nBasics of culture and value conflicts in a diverse environment\nDifferences in communication styles and feedback culture\nReligious beliefs and their impact in the healthcare setting\nUnderstanding cultural adjustment processes and frustration thresholds\nDeveloping intercultural competence and team building\nHandling misunderstandings and conflict management\n\n  \nBenefits\nAfter participating in this virtual training\, you will have \n\nDeveloped methods and tips for communicating with target audiences.\nWork effectively and interact confidently with multicultural patients.\nLearn conflict strategies to resolve misunderstandings.\nDeveloped self-care methods to promote resilience.\n\n  \nMethods\n\nInput and presentation by the trainer\nReflection exercises on one’s own cultural influence and perspectives.\nRole plays and case studies of intercultural scenarios.\nGroup discussions and sharing of experiences.\n\n  \nNote on the times\n\nWorkshop part 1: 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.\nLunch break: 12 – 2 p.m.\nWorkshop part 2: 2 – 5 p.m.\n\n  \nNumber of participants: 3 – max. 10\nYou can book the training as an in-house measure or as a virtual training. La cultura laboral y cotidiana puede diferir considerablemente de la de tu país de origen.
