Preparation for a posting abroad
You are posting an employee to another country or are being posted yourself?
Not only questions of insurance and organisation arise in the new working environment, cultural and mentality-related demands are also aspects that have to be considered.
It is difficult to achieve economic success and a pleasant environment in a company if you do not know or understand how the local people think, work and live. Only people who have consciously taken the trouble to find out about their situation in the target country can ever hope to become integrated there and to benefit from the cultural differences and similarities.
Our intercultural preparation helps you to move successfully in two cultures. The training course is focussed on the special demands placed on a person taking up a posting abroad and the processes of adjustment and the difficulties that the move involves. The issues of cultural differences in the working world and everyday life as well as the “culture shock” are broached and strategies for overcoming these are worked out together.
And what about the family?
Family reasons are those most commonly cited for the premature termination of postings abroad. This indicates how important it is to include those accompanying the employee abroad in the intercultural preparation. We also provide training for accompanying partners and children. Where children are concerned, the contents of the training are of course adapted so that they are suitable for children.
