Meetings

There are many factors that influence whether a meeting is successful and satisfactory for everyone involved. Having to communicate in a foreign language is often a problem and an added stress factor for the participants. Many conflicts and misunderstandings arise from the cultural characteristics of the persons taking part in the meeting whose way of communicating and communicating strategies may be very different.

During the training course you will become familiar with the different forms of communication with which you may be confronted in a meeting involving partners from other cultures.

  • What pitfalls in communication must be avoided?
  • How much importance is placed on small talk and getting to know people personally in other cultures? Which topics are suitable and which taboo for small talk?
  • How can I express what I want to say and assert myself?
  • Which style of communication is best suited to which culture?

Taking intercultural aspects into consideration can make meetings less stressful, you can work more efficiently and achieve better results. Get fit for international meetings!
