Author and Associate in the German Knigge-Rat

Gerhard Hain, graduate educationalist, studied Educational Science, Psychology and Sociology in Regensburg and Rome. He leads seminars European-wide, gives lectures and consults institutes of further education and companies in the basics of intercultural competence. Since 2001 Gerhard Hain has been active as a consultant and trainer in the field of cross-national communication and business development for international companies (especially in Italy, Germany and Austria). In recent years his activities have led him to many differing branches of industry (among others insurance and financial services as well as the tourist and hotel branch, technical corporations and the car industry).  He is co-author with Ms Engelbert of the book “Auslandsknigge” (etiquette and manners abroad) published by the GU-Verlag. He is the founder and a partner in the institute ti communication in Regensburg and a partner in the institute ti communication Dr. Fischhof GmbH in Vienna. He has been an associate of the German “Knigge-Rat” (Knigge council) since March 2008.

 

Susanna Brökelmann

Susanna Brökelmann, Partner and Trainer
Graduate Psychologist

Susanna Brökelmann is a graduate psychologist with an additional course of studies in  “International Action Competence“ taken in Regensburg. She has spent longer periods in Spain and Mexico and successfully concluded a course of studies abroad in São Paulo/Brazil. She cooperated with many companies from different branches of industry in Sao Paulo as part of her research work. She actively implements the multitude of experience and knowledge gained in many different corporate cultures into her Brazil training course. In addition she worked as an intercultural trainer in Brazil and developed an intercultural training course for German specialist and executive staff in Brazil. The training course “In Brazil on Business” is available in book form. Since the year 2004 she has worked in the organisation of intercultural training courses and together with persons from all over the world within the framework of various projects. Ms Brökelmann is a partner in ti communication Regensburg and has worked as an intercultural trainer in Germany since 2004.

 

Carolin Öllinger

Carolin Öllinger, Partner
Graduate of Economic and Cultural Studies

Carolin Öllinger holds a degree in Economic and Cultural Studies. Ms Öllinger concluded a course of studies “Linguistic, Economic and Cultural Areas” specialising in France and the Czech Republic as well as completing an additional course of studies in the Czech language and culture. She successfully completed a course of studies abroad at the Karls University in Prague. Since the year 2006 she has been active in the organisation of intercultural training courses for many different branches of industry and cooperates with people from a multitude of different cultural backgrounds within the scope of various projects. She is the contact person in Regensburg for training courses and projects for the Czech cultural area. Ms Öllinger is a partner in ti communication Regensburg.

 

Martina Brod

Martina Brod, team assistant

Martina Brod, B.A. in Cultural Studies and Political Science, University of Regensburg. She possesses extensive language skills as a result of spending a high school year and numerous additional periods of residence in the USA and has substantial expert knowledge and fundamental knowledge in the field of interculturality.Ms Brod has been working as a management team assistant at ti communication since June 2010. She is not only responsible for scheduling and post processing of intercultural training courses, but also creating customer specific offers. In this context she is responsible for customer contact, as well as trainer contact. She also deals with incoming job applications. Moreover, the organisational supervision of trade fairs and support in the execution of the intercultural management discussion group in Regensburg belong to her tasks as far as supporting the management is concerned.

 

Doris Bernkopf, team assistant

Doris Bernkopf has a Bachelor Degree in Spanish Philology and Comparative Cultural Studies from the University of Regensburg. Born in Passau, she has lived in Regensburg for ten years now. Initially, she worked in the social sector for several years, and most recently in adult education. She successfully completed a several-month traineeship with the Regensburg Council City Marketing during her studies, where she worked in the coordination office of the construction of the Regensburg International School (RIS). As a result of a further traineeship at ti communication in spring 2009, she was able to get an impression of her current field of activity.

She has been able to gain a variety of intercultural experience due to several lengthy periods of residence abroad, e.g. in South America and Asia, most recently in China.

At ti communication Doris Bernkopf is responsible for the organisational pre- and post-processing of intercultural training courses, as well as creating customer specific offers. She is not only responsible for trainer contact, but also for the preparation and execution of trainer meetings to allow a content and methodical exchange.

Florian Heitzer, working student

Florian Heitzer studies Spanish philology and business management at the University of Regensburg. He completed an additional international competence course at the College of Higher Education in Regensburg in 2011. He possesses fundamental intercultural knowledge as a result of several language study trips abroad, as well as his recent internship in Spain, which lasted several months.

Mr Heitzer has been employed at ti communication as a working student since March 2011. His fields of activity are creating the ti communication newsletter, as well as being responsible for the company’s Internet marketing. Working together with company trainees, he manages the intercultural blog of ti communication, along with the Facebook profile.
